Hi! I used to have a Colorado 300 (that was stolen few months ago) and now I have set my attention on the new eTrex20

BUT I would not like to have the same problem I had between xContest and Colorado.

Will I be able to use the unit to save tracks for uploading on xContest?

    I don't know; gipsy generates G record only for Garmin gps that support spanner mode. If it doesn't, then gipsy won't do it. You can import GPX flight into gipsy, but it will not generate G record; you can claim that flight to xcontest, but, as far, as I know, you will not get any points.
