Thx Ron for the tow!
Great flying day with a nice Northwesterly breeze. took a very drifty climb of climb of tow, managed to get close to base (which was much higher than yesterday). the forest south of deni was a bit tricky, I wanted to stay high to cross over, but of course I came low and had to pull of a low safe a couple of k's in front of it. Just as it seamed i would be alright, I lost the climb. Now close to the forest I was flying low crosswind hoping to find a thermal, just as I was giving up I hit a strong core which took me up to base. from there on it got better and better, the last few thermals where very solid and strong. at the end there where big dark cluds over the hill, but as soon as I got there, they fell apart and the sky was blue to the south, so I was forced to land on the top of the plateau. which wasn't a bad spot after all!! The Farmers from the Farm where I landed on where REALLY friendly and gave me a good feed and a bed to stay the night, and dropped me in Benalla, 3 cars later I was in Deni just on time for lunch :-)
Flying should always be like this!
