[Thread] How to update your Firefox and yet have a working GiPSy installation
A while ago Firefox adopted a fast-paced six weeks release cycle, assuring that any bug and security issue would be quickly addressed but at the same time making it hard for extensions developers to keep them up to date.
For this reason I have an "official" up-to-date Firefox installation that I use for everyday browsing, and another "old" one that I use just with GiPSy.
Since the update problem is one of the most discussed issues here on GiPSy forum, I wrote a little multi-platform guide to make the GiPSy dedicated install, you can find it here:
